Types of donations accepted for the Algoma School District DI Program
The ASD program is funded through the school district’s budget and allows teams to compete at the BayLake Regional and the Wisconsin Affiliate tournaments. The budget covers the purchase of the team numbers from DIHQ and the tournament registration through the State tournament. There is a small allowance for supplies.
How You Can Help
-Find out what materials a team needs and help supply these materials either with a donation outright or at a reduced cost.
-Make a monetary donation to a team or teams to assist in the purchase of materials they need.
-Make a monetary donation to the Wisconsin Affiliate (or affiliate of your choice) or to DIHQ.
-Sponsor the team(s) that qualifies to compete at Global Finals. This tournament is self-funded and when a team from our district qualifies to travel to Knoxville to compete, it costs about $7000.
-Attend our fundraisers. Our largest fundraiser that supports the Global Finals fund is our dinner and public performance. Attend the dinner, donate a prize, come and see these talented students show off their hard work.
-Purchase a BayLake Regional tournament shirt. Profits from the shirt sales got directly to funding our tournament.
DI is a 501(c)(3) non-profit so your donations are tax deductible!
